What is Prayer ministry about?

I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. – 1 Tim 2:8 (KJV)

Prayer, Prayer, Prayer, at Daybreak Chapel is a foundation block upon which we build our lives – the body of Christ, the church. Giving Lives a New Identity means praying souls in to the Kingdom (Christ) to put on the image of Christ. Our prayer ministry is in 3 groups:

• Intercessory Team
• Prayer Warriors & Counseling Team

Intercessory Team – This group focuses on intercession for the lives of people in the ministry, for the growth of the ministry, for the fulfilment of the vision of DAYBREAK in people’s lives. This group stands in the gap for the nation as well as global issues, bringing God`s order to the world through the church. Any man or woman, boy or girl with a burden and call to prayer should definitely be part of this group.

Prayer and Counseling Team – seasoned men and women in the word of God make up this group who offer Godly wisdom and counsel for all manner of issues. They receive new members and by the word of God help the Pastorate to disciple them. Marriage mentors, youth mentors are all found in this group.
